'Futurama' Series Finale Breaks Time, Gives Fry And Leela A Lifetime Together (VIDEO)

When Comedy Central announced Monday that it would not renew Futurama, deflated sighs of geek despair echoed across the blogosphere. I think these episodes are the best ones we've ever done. I even dressed up as Leela for Halloween in Up until season seven, Leela was portrayed as the assertive, logical, and fiercely independent space captain who typically saves the day when the other characters flounder. For the rest of the season, their relationship woes becomes the nagging focus of plotlines. Meanwhile, Fry remains the same. However, it also confirms the ultimate fear of independent women, that we have to lower our standards if we want to find relationship stability. I mean, you failed, miserably.

It was the series finale of " Futurama " -- again. After an interrupted seven-season run, the show may have finally run its course. And so it ended with heart, focusing on Fry and Leela. Fry finally mustered up the courage to pop the question, but things didn't go quite as planned. And it all had to do with a device that could turn back time, but only by ten seconds. The first time she reached for the ring, the clam it was in clamped down and severed her hand.

It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 13, The episode was written by Ken Keeler and directed by Chris Louden. The episode focuses on a romantic relationship between Fry and Amy. Amy buys a car at Malfunctioning Eddie 's Rocket-car Emporium, and Fry joins her on a road trip to Mercury that leads to a long wait for a tow truck after they run out of gas.

Love and Rocket

It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 10, The show is a Valentine's Day -themed episode that centers on Bender 's relationship with the artificial intelligence of the Planet Express Ship. The subplot involves Fry trying to express his feelings for Leela thorough the use of Valentine's Day candy.
